We are seeking a Recording Clerk for a national title insurance company based in St. Louis.

You will be responsible for supporting real estate transactions by performing a range of essential administrative and technical duties. This onsite position requires a detail-oriented professional who can navigate the complexities of title processes to ensure the accurate and timely recording of real estate documents.

Core Responsibilities

  • Identify, review, and prepare recordable documents in accordance with state and county requirements.

  • Utilize electronic recording platforms to facilitate the submission and tracking of legal documents.

  • Ensure all state/county-specific forms are completed accurately to meet strict jurisdictional guidelines.

  • Assist the title team and branch offices in maintaining a high-volume workflow while ensuring error-free output.

  • Drive excellence by meeting internal and external Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to support a seamless closing experience.

Experience & Technical Knowledge

  • 1–2 years of experience within the title insurance or mortgage industry is highly preferred.

  • Deep understanding of state and county recording requirements, guidelines, and necessary legal forms.

  • Direct experience using electronic recording platforms.

  • Ability to recognize and differentiate various types of recordable real estate documents.
