We are seeking an Escrow Assistant for a national title insurance company based in Roseville, CA.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundational knowledge of the escrow process, from initial disclosure to final disbursement, ensuring that every transaction is handled with precision and professional care.
Primary Responsibilities

Prepare HUD disclosures and mock Closing Disclosures (CDs) including title fees, taxes, and payoffs; verify vesting and legal descriptions against title commitments.

Coordinate the drawing of loan documents, escrow instructions, and deeds; manage the scheduling of notaries or attorneys in accordance with state requirements.

Perform comprehensive reviews of executed notary packages, ensuring all documents are correctly signed and uploaded to the internal software system.

Assemble recording packages with required affidavits and certificates; assist the Escrow Officer in auditing final numbers and verifying wire instructions.

Track lender funding status to ensure deposits are cleared; collaborate with the Audit/Disbursing Department to facilitate file completion and notify clients once funds are released.

Manage the follow-up for releases and the delivery of final policies to clients; order beneficiary statements, HOA demands, and judgment releases to clear liens and encumbrances.
Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in escrow, title insurance, or a closely related real estate field.

Strong command of escrow software and digital document management; ability to handle high-volume data entry with 100% accuracy.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with loan processors, officers, and transaction principals.

A sharp eye for detail with the ability to identify and resolve issues within title commitments or loan documents.
Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Ability to obtain or maintain a Notary Public commission is a plus.
