We have a need for a Curative Specialist for one of our top clients, a national title insurance company based in Anaheim.

This role provides nationwide title services by supporting real estate transactions through public record searches, title examination, and curative resolution. The Curative Specialist is responsible for reviewing property titles, resolving defects, and assisting with document preparation and issue resolution as part of a title team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to internal and external inquiries related to title and curative processes

  • Monitor centralized inboxes, work queues, and phone inquiries; escalate complex issues as needed

  • Prepare and review curative and title documents, primarily affidavits

  • Collect and review required documentation for closings

  • Clear liens and resolve title defects

  • Act as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and external partners

  • Enter accurate notes and maintain records in company systems

  • Follow up on delays and update case status accordingly

  • Maintain a high level of customer service through proactive communication

  • Identify trends or recurring issues and report them to management

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of title company experience

  • Lien clearing and title resolution experience

  • Previous Curative experience with strong knowledge of title and mortgage documents

  • Experience working in a multi-state operation

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and customer service skills

  • Team-oriented with flexibility and adaptability
