We are actively looking for an experienced Title Examiner to join the team of a busy National Title Insurance company in Glendale. This is an in-office, temp-to-hire position.
We provide nationwide title services and support real estate transactions by preparing comprehensive title packages, conducting thorough research on tax documentation, and other relevant aspects related to escrow and title closings. The Title Examiner Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the smooth completion of these transactions through accurate data compilation and research.
Some of the basics:
- Conduct in-depth title research to compile search packages, which may range from basic to complex, requiring thorough investigation and analysis.
- Perform title searches both remotely and on-site, including travel to courthouses, municipalities, and other government entities to gather necessary documentation.
- Focus primarily on residential real estate transactions while adhering to standard procedures and company guidelines.
- Ensure alignment of assigned duties within the team and how the team collaborates with other departments.
- Provide valuable support that impacts the team's overall effectiveness and transaction accuracy.
- Identify and resolve common issues independently, utilizing established protocols and solutions.
- Communicate moderately complex information to internal teams, ensuring clarity in routine matters.
- Operate under general supervision, managing your own workload with minimal oversight. This role is an individual contributor position with no supervisory duties.
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth operations and project completion.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in title research, real estate, or escrow services.
- Commercial experience is a plus

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in title search software and research tools.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Preferred:
- Familiarity with residential real estate transactions.
