Exciting Opportunity: Senior Attorney at a Leading Family Law Firm in San Jose, CA

We are seeking a talented and experienced Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional results for our clients.

As a Senior Attorney, you will work both independently and collaboratively, managing cases from start to finish. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong advocacy, leadership skills, and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cases from initial strategy to resolution, ensuring the best outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and other parties via phone and email.
  • Accurately log work hours and update case files using CLIO.
  • Adhere to company policies and legal guidelines throughout the case review process.
  • Send email summaries following key calls to confirm important details.
  • Respond to all communications within 48 hours to maintain excellent client service.
  • Prepare all necessary documents and coordinate witnesses ahead of hearings.
  • Utilize the company's phone system for professional communication.
  • Stay current with Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements and certifications.
  • Provide high-quality service while maintaining good standing with the California Bar Association.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience practicing family law.
  • At least 50 contested hearings completed.
  • Experience with a minimum of 50 marital settlement agreements.
  • A minimum of 10 litigation cases handled.
