Pay Rate: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as an Escrow Assistant/Closing Assistant. In this role, you will provide crucial support to the escrow officer and assist in the smooth and timely closing of real estate transactions. Your responsibilities will include managing administrative tasks, coordinating with various parties involved in the transaction, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist the escrow officer in all aspects of the escrow process, from opening to closing.
- Prepare and review escrow documents, including purchase agreements, title commitments, and closing statements.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties to gather required documentation and information.
- Conduct research and gather information related to the property and transaction.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all escrow transactions.
- Communicate with all parties involved to provide updates, answer inquiries, and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate and organized physical and digital files and records.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating closing meetings and appointments.
- Prepare and distribute closing documents to all relevant parties.
- Follow all legal and regulatory requirements, including compliance with applicable escrow and title insurance regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients and industry professionals.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in real estate, escrow, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience working as an escrow assistant, closing assistant, or in a similar role within the real estate industry.
- Strong understanding of escrow processes, real estate transactions, and title insurance.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to escrow and real estate.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using escrow software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant computer applications.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
