Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Licensed Escrow Officer to join our team. The Escrow Officer will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of real estate escrow transactions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of escrow procedures, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of the legal requirements related to escrow services.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee real estate escrow transactions from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and analyze purchase agreements, contracts, and other related documents to identify any potential issues or discrepancies.
  • Prepare escrow instructions and necessary documents for each transaction, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Act as a neutral third party in facilitating communication and coordination between all parties involved in the escrow process, including buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys.
  • Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and other parties to obtain necessary documents, clear title issues, and ensure a smooth closing process.
  • Calculate and verify prorations, fees, and other financial aspects of escrow transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized escrow files, records, and documentation in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to escrow services.
  • Collaborate with team members and actively contribute to process improvements and workflow efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid and active Escrow Officer license issued by the [State Licensing Authority].
  • Previous experience working as a licensed escrow officer in a real estate or title company is strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of escrow procedures, real estate transactions, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using escrow software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
