Real Estate Paralegal/Escrow CloserFL - Miami
Pay Rate: $55,000 - $60,000 per year
Our title company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our title agents with various real estate matters, including commercial and residential transactions, leasing, and financing.
- Conduct due diligence and title searches, review surveys, and prepare closing documents for commercial and residential real estate transactions.
- Prepare and file documents with various governmental agencies, including deeds, mortgages, and other real estate related documents.
- Coordinate with title companies, lenders, real estate brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all documentation and funding requirements are met.
- Review lease agreements, prepare lease abstracts, and assist with lease negotiations.
- Assist with the preparation of loan documents and other financing-related documents.
- Maintain and update client files and databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform legal research, prepare summaries, and assist with the preparation of legal opinions and memoranda.
- Provide administrative support to title agents, including scheduling meetings, answering phones, and drafting correspondence.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal, with experience in both commercial and residential transactions.
- Strong knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
