Responsibilities
- Work with multiple external clients to understand project needs, determine project scope, and provide regular project status updates
- Collaborate closely with Finance Management to create project budgets
- Create project schedules and work with company Leadership on resource projections and allocations
- Meet internal reporting requirements and measure project performance using internal tools
- Create client status reports that identify progress, risks, dependencies, and budget status
- Work with company Leadership to provide clear goals for project team members
- Lead Daily Standup to monitor progress, identify risks, and track budgets
- Create clear agendas for internal and client meetings
- Facilitate clear communication among team members
- Manage projects in all phases of development from initiation through deployment
- Help foster and promote a collaborative and inspirational environment with team members
Experience and Personal Qualities
- 5+ years in Information Technology client-facing project management services
- 3+ years managing IT project budgets and project resourcing
- Overall knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and software
- Proven leadership experience and excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience leading client and internal team meetings
- Experience with cloud architecture and cyber security required (MSP background is preferred)
- Minimum three years of management experience in the IT field, including development or engineering work and interactions with clients
- Experience managing IT projects such as:
- o Onboarding clients to Managed Services
- o Conversion from physical infrastructure to Azure or AWS-hosted environments
- o Office 365 / Azure onboarding and migrations
- o Environment Security Audits (Cloud or On-Premises)
- o Client Office Networking Infrastructure - new construction or overhauls
- Experience conducting Quarterly Business Reviews with clients in an MSP environment
- College degree preferred
