Qualifications required:
2 years experience required
Bachelor in finance or accounting a plus
Must have experience in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
Lacerte Tax Software experience is a plus
Mortgage Industry a plus


Should be comfortable working with multiple supervisors and taking direction on multiple projects simultaneously.


Should be able to budget time and complete projects with deadlines

Most of the work will be bookkeeping for various clients of the firm and assisting the managing partner on various projects.
During busy season, work may transition to tax return preparation, 1099 preparation and other tasks.

Basic Function: The Jr. Bookkeeper will be responsible for daily bookkeeping projects for various clients. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to self-manage time lines.
Desired Qualifications: The candidate with mortgage banking experience will be a plus. Candidates with accounting degrees and a desire to be a CPA will be giving preferential consideration.
Additional Qualifications: QuickBooks, MS Office, Good in Excel.
Working Conditions: Will work in an office environment. Travel to area clients will be necessary.
Responsibilities:
Planning
  1. On-Boarding new clients

Operations
  1. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and annual accounting.

Financial Information
  1. Oversee and participates in the issuance of financial information
  2. Personally review and approve loan covenants, investor reporting, and financial reporting.
  3. Report financial results to the board of directors and management in a timely manner
